It is not a WW2 magazine, but a police magazine and in fact one accepted by simson, could be for a simson or simply a replacement magazine.
I have a bunch of WW2 era magazines and would trade you one in very nice shape for this one. Unit marked police are not rare, but not common either, you see them every now and then, but most were not marked. Ed

It is unit marked to the Hannover Police District. The Roman numeral, II is the command area.
