Hammer prices for notable lots:
Up to Sfr. 1000 -- 19% of the hammer price; Between Sfr. 1000 and Sfr. 5000 -- 17% of the hammer price; Between Sfr. 5000 and Sfr. 10000 -- 15% of the hammer price; Over Sfr. 10000 -- 13% of the hammer price. Is Sfr. 43,000.00 + 13%, which currently equals $59,969.49, a world record price for a W+F 06/29 Luger?

Michael:
An early 6/29 WF prototype? Still seems a stunning price. Given my pick of any of them, I would like to have the 3rd one, the early 1900 #327. Wow! Clark

Bobba says of W+F SN 100000: "In the '80s, when the machines which had not been sold had been stockpiled for years, the W+F gave up all the spare parts for Parabellums still lying in the factory to armourers and spare parts agents. Only the pieces necessary to assemble a specimen, obviously of the Mod 06/29, which was given the number «100000» were kept. This weapon is still in the Waffenfabrik Bern today, even though it is not catalogued in the Eidgenössische Waffensammlung and several fakes are known in Switzerland itself. This weapon has no particularity outside its serial number, and was made only with the aim of determining exactly when the last Swiss Parabellum was constructed."
