Welcome aboard Craig!
There are a number of decent shooters in the "For Sale" section here. You can be sure that you will always get a decent deal from longtime site members. |

Hello Craig!
Shooters are in about the $600 - $800 range; they can be mismatched (many Luger parts are serialized); have poor or no finish; be pitted; have aftermarket grips/magazines; and the really pitiful ones have the snot buffed out of them when they were reblued!!! But a good shooter can be one refurbished by the East Germans ["VoPo" Lugers] from WW II Russian captured Lugers. There are some available currently from at least one source. You might be interested in a matched [serial] Luger; maybe with a Mec-Gar mag and new grips. And a decent original finish, maybe 75% bluing remaining or so. That'd run maybe $1000 - $1200...but could still be shot occasionally... Lots of options...
