1918 Artillery Luger question
I'm looking at a 1918 DWM Artillery, nice gun, all matching numbers including mag, hi 90's bluing, great straw. One concern is that the barrel serial numbers do not show halos around them. My 1915 DWM 4 inch pistol has them, but I'm a bit concerned about the artillery.

I can't speak for 1918's, but my 1916 has distinct halos on the barrel serial number.

I can't imagine why they would not, since they went thru the same rust bluing and stamping processes.
