Default Seeking your expert opinion...

Aquired this Luger from my father shortly before he passed away. A few local collectors have expressed interest in it, but not exactly sure what I want to do with it. There is no personal history attached to this piece, as dad bought it about 20 years ago from parts unknown. Overall condition is rather good, bore is great, all numbers appear to match (with exception of mag.), complete with holster and tool. Lugers are far from my field of expertice, so any opinions of condition or value would be appreciated.

The Luger you show..depending on an in hand inspection could be worth $18-2500. Holster is $3-375 depending on what the back of it looks like. Might be a lot less if there is a nasty surprise back there.
Does the tool have any markings?
Looks like you have 2 magazines? extra Magazines other than one with the pistol can fetch $100-150 depending on markings and condition.

Oddly enough it's often best to sell the holster, tool and extra magazine seperately. Most people who want to buy the pistol will want those things thrown into the deal...
