Cops, Media lie on gun buy back
Just saw a video clip from the CBS Chicago propaganda mill about another ridiculous buy back program.....they paid 100 bucks a shot no questions asked (hmm...shoot a guy, turn the gun in, evidence gone!)....usual supply of junk , but the corrupt Chicago head cop in the interview (four stars on the collar...that make him a general??) was showcasing his prize catch.....a M-60 machine gun!!! yep wow, huh? Problem is, the gun's a total fake....a replica gun made of resin parts and a few demilled GI parts...as any cursory inspection would show....no wonder the cities murder rate exceeds that of whole Third World countries, when the cops are liars and crooks.

Bob, A Chicago Police Officer with 4 stars on his collar is a Political animal. He is simply parroting what his Boss says...It's all a dog and pony show for the public image of the Department or Precinct. He can't really say anything else and keep his job even if he thought otherwise!

**** = Chief
*** = Assistant Chief ** = Deputy Chief * = Commander || = Captain | = Lieutenant ^ = Sergeant (actually 2 chevrons) Some departments have other ranks; Inspector, Commissioner, Sheriff, Marshal From Wikipedia - The United States police rank model is generally quasimilitary in structure. Although the large and varied number of federal, state, and local police departments and sheriff's office have different ranks, a general model, from highest to lowest rank, would be: Chief of Police, Police Commissioner, Superintendent, Sheriff Deputy Chief of Police, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Superintendent, Undersheriff Inspector, Commander, Colonel Major, Deputy Inspector Captain Lieutenant Sergeant Detective, Inspector, Investigator Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Corporal This would indicate that Inspector Jacques Clouseau is of fairly high rank...

That's ok, at the one buy back in L.A. someone turned in an old EXPENDED AT-4 tube! They told the public that someone turned in a rocket launcher! They never told the press that it can't be re-loaded and is just a hunk of useless fiberglass. Got to love it.

If they could raise the price to $500 a piece, I will sell them a few
$100 is too low,,,, but some Mosin Nagant rifles were ~$60 not too long ago. |

Or stand outside the buy back location and make people better offers on stuff that looks good, like some dealers where doing here in Miami.
Really ticked Metro-Dade off!!! And don't believe that "no questions asked" baloney. They are videotaping everybody as the receiving officers calls out a serial number. If the gun turns up later to have been used in a serious crime, they at least have the perp on tape and often they will be able to stop him before he leaves the building, now that computerized lists of hot weapons exist. |

I think that they usually melt them down.... Makes a person want to cry! Then again I remember watching an MG-42, in mint condition, be crushed under the tracks of an Abrams in Iraq...... Stupid officers and poloticians!
