30 luger magazines
I recently acquired and early model 1900 Luger. I would like to get some more mags for it as it only came with one. I see Mec-Gar makes magazines but only in 9mm. Is it possible to use one of these in a gun chambered for 7.65mm para? Thanks for info on this.

Hi Pete,
Luger mags will work with either 9mm or 7.65mm. I hope your 1900 is a shooter and not an all original fully matching collector piece.

Thanks for the reply so fast. As far as I can tell, mine is an all original parts piece. I only did a basic field strip so far but every where I could see all the parts had matching serial numbers. The bore has seen better days but there is still discernible rifling in it. I think the only part that was not original was the magazine as I saw no matching numbers on it. I intend to get other magazines just in case. I will still shoot it, if only a little.
