Ed, yes, cartridge shows are traditionally Friday and Saturday. Don't know why, but I can't buck the trend.

Postino, I can guarantee that there will be some 9mm Mauser there, and there is a good chance you would find an M1906 .45.

When you say 9mm Mauser are you talking about 9mm Mauser Export? The Semi-mythical cartridge made for a few exported C96's? These guns are usually found in South America?
Never seen a real cartridge for that caliber, heck, never seen a real C96 chambered for that cartridge either!

Yep! There's pics/spec sheet posted here somewhere for it...I have the pic/spec from COTW if you'd like to read it...

Basically the 7.63 Mauser cartridge but without the bottleneck...Pretty much the same thing Luger/DWM did with the 7.65 Luger cartridge to make the 9mm Luger/Parabellum cartridge...

I bet Alvin has a C96 in 9mm Mauser 'Export' if anyone does!!!

1. There will not be any firearms for sale or display at the show, it is collector ammunition only.
2. The 9mm Mauser round (9x25) is a pretty common cartridge and I am sure there will be examples there. I have a few duplicates myself that will be on my tables.
3. There are always a few $1000 plus cartridges at cartridge collector shows, and it would not surprise me one bit to see an M1906 there. If you are seriously interested in one I could check with a few of the dealers who will be there.

Well, Herr Tinker was at the show today.
Ed, what did you think of a cartridge collector show? Find anything interesting?

I was on a work conference call, so if I appeared rude ... I had a great time, took some bucks out and spent half, plus have two guys checking on some 45 rounds for me!

Glad you had a good visit. That was our 19th annual show, big 20th next year!
The 2014 show will be at the same place next year, the same third weekend in August.
