Default serial # 9580

I have a luger with serial # 9580. I was wondering if someone could tell me any thing about it.

The serial won't tell us anything! We will need some good photos to be able to give you any help!

Hi Denise, Welcome to the forum! The number 9580 was used at least 200 times during the almost 50 years that Lugers were in production. As the others have said, we need a lot more information to be ale to help you, starting with the suffix letter, if present, located below the serial number on the front of the frame, and a description of any other markings on the gun.
Regards, Norm

HI Denise, and welcome to the forum.

We can probably provide a great deal of information for you. Be sure to ask any specific questions. Also, let us know a bit about how it was acquired.

When you take pictures, use a tripod, the camera's closeup setting; the self timer (to eliminate camera shake) and take them using indirect sunlight (in the shade outdoors).

You can post therm here using the advanced editor to upload the pictures.
