WW1 Luger Mags
Gents, just got these WW1 luger mags, one for my artillery luger and one for a holster, one seems to have more writing and numbers than normal, is this just a different maker or is it a unit mark etc?

Your first magazine is an Erfurt marked WW1 magazine, original markings would be the serial number, (7635), letter suffix, (M?N?) and a "+" to mark it as the spare magazine.
The "99" was added later as either a rack, inventory or police reissue mark. Your second magazine is also Erfurt marked, but your serial number is a first run, early one without a letter suffix. It also has the spare magazine "+", but nothing further added to it. Last edited by alanint; 10-23-2013 at 10:57 AM. |
