Question 1915 P-08 Holster - opinions and repair help needed

I posted the pics of this yesterday with the 1940 P-08 it was acquired with in the military P-08 forum. My father bought the 1915 holster and the 1940 P-08 as a set back in February 1985. Is it an original 1915 holster and how can I get it repaired? Thanks.

Hi Jeff, You have an original and very fine Imperial holster. You should send it to Jerry Burney, member of this forum, he will be able to do an invisible repair.
Regards, Norm

Thanks for the input! I'll contact Jerry about repair, but I'm guessing it better to ship these in warm weather? The change in temperature is hard on the old leather? It's currently -13F here in Indiana
