Default Red 9 Value?

hello, I'm offered a mint 99% Full Red 9 Rig, All matching, including stock (not this one pictured). I know blue book value about $5200, but what is the collector to collector or private seller value?

Well I think it's a bit on the expensive side, here in Italy a "decent" Red 9 would cost about USD 3400.00 (rechambered though in 9x21 IMI)

My 2 cents

So I missed out on a red 9 with stock and everything for a mere $1k at a local pawn shop. Looked all orig based on the pictures I saw not sure if stock was matching overall finish around 30% but good shape otherwise. I'm still sad about it.

It is our failures, as well as our successes, that keep us checking in at the LGS.

That is pretty high.

In that condition no body is likely to turn one loose for less than $4000.
Consider condition and the fact it is a complete matching rig.
Rare-in demand.
