I also wonder sometimes.
One movie on the list caught my attention. "The Battle on Neretva" - this would be more correct translation of the Yugo original title "Bitka na Neretvi", (the list calls it "Battle OF Neretva") .........film is about the most decisive battle of the WW2 in Yugoslavia, on river Neretva in today's Bosnia. My dad was stationed in Belgrade (US Embassy), and I lived in Yugoslavia at the time. The whole production was a HUGE deal in YU at the time. Yul Brynner, Richard Burton, and the rest were staying in Belgrade, and minggled with the embassy staff. Gala parties, brunches, ......local papers announced: "Hollywood comes to Yugoslavia!". I was 14 years old, and I gobbled it all up like candy. Didn't care much for Richard Burton, but I "knew" Yul Brynner from all the westerns I was growing up on. Cool dude.
