Damage to a shooter
I took my GT bull barrel out shooting, it shot great, but in the first few minutes, shooting standard Federal 9mm (nothing plus about it), it broke an extractor!
So, anyone here who shoots a collector grade, even only a box every few years; this broke a numbered part on my toggle, luckily it was not a collector piece. https://youtu.be/Vx3r-09e_60 https://youtu.be/gfQpRdrtb3M |

Obviously poor German metallurgy!
You are a wise man to shoot only a shooter pistol. |

I don't think there's anything more stupid about it especially if one is an avid collector. Regards,

No Sergio, its fine, this was a parts gun I made up for shooting. I was planning on sharing the new GT Special barrel, which worked very well, but the extractor breaking just showed that if I had taken my nice 1939 Mauser out and it broke the same part, I would be very upset.....

GT shooter!
Hi Ed! Darn! I wished it hadn't broken down on ya!......... Up to that point, what little you got to shoot it, did it have a good feel to it? It did for me! It was actually kind of snappy and fun! Too bad you didn't get more of a run with it.... Keep us informed! Best to you, til...lat'r....GT....

In red movies, we heard this frequently "one revolutionist fall down, but thousands revolutionists stand up" Moving this to C&R: you broke an extractor, but also generated many many more good parts. It's not all negative.
