Default 1914 Navy

Have a 1914 model Navy Luger dated 1917. Serial is 41xxa. The number 1917 is stamped on front sight base as well as on the left side of frame under proof marks. 6 inch barrel. DWM made. No other markings.
Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Hi Jon,
Photos of your gun are essential if we are to help you.
I maintain a data base of all known Imperial Navy Lugers, if you send me the full serial number of your gun and your email address I'll send you the link to the full Navy List.
Regards, Norm
