Default 1941BYF Ejector question

The central locating tab on my Ejector protrudes slightly past the inner receiver face By about .010 inches, In the breechblock rubs against it every time it cycles by. Is this normal....?I haven't noticed this on any of my imperial era Lugers. It's a deep plum color and I believe it to be original to the gun.

Thanks in advance, Scott

No, it is not normal- but happens- tolerance variation; just reduce the height with a file so it clears.

Thank you so much Don for your speedy response. This gun is not going to be a shooter, But I do want it to be right since its a simple fix.

Regards, Scott
