Default Nambu Ammo

Those of us who are the proud owners of the superior Nambu pistol know that finding rounds for it can be a problem. There have been complaints about the Precision Cartridge offering (when its available), although I myself have had no problems shooting it.

I just found out about a new offering, "Steinel": https://www.steinelammo.com/product/...-fmj-50-count/
Supposedly the bees knees, but expensive, even by pricey Nambu ammo standards. I'll probably be ordering a box to try...
They also have other obsolete calibers, including 9mm Largo! No .32 rimfire though.

Edit: I went ahead and purchased, coupon code FREESHIP does just that, at least today! I know John in particular will want to jump on this deal!

I have been lucky and picked up four or five midway boxes, but this is decent price especially if you reload for the brass.

Thanks for the info, new suppliers are always good to have.

I've seen folks asking $80 to 100 box for Midway 50 rnds; but $40-50 is more the norm.
So maybe $55 is not too crazy- but for sure high enough!

I expect to pay $1/rd for Nambu ammo. Obscenely expensive, but even John would know that its totally worth it for the superior Nambu shooting experience!

Zorba, Uhhh..superior to what exactly? I love your enthusiasm..But $1.00 a round is mighty superior I have to say! It would make me a re loader! Last week we went out and emptied 400 rounds of various calibers in an hour and a half. Glad I don't have a Japanese machine gun!

Exclamation

I started handloading when I retired because I had the time and I wanted to craft special load just for each of my vintage firearms. I love it even if I am not saving money. You may wish to reload to save money and enjoy a new dimension of your hobby. Yes, I even reload for my 7,65 Ortgies, and that is challenging.

That's how I found out about them. Gun Jesus mentioned them in a Nambu T94 video.

I quite enjoy watching his video's. A shame this Steinel company doesn't make any of the Type 26 Nambu revolver ammo.

Yea, and I was thinking it would be nice if they made .30 Luger as well. Received my Steinel Nambu ammo today, and its fine looking ammo! Headstamped GRAF 8MM NAMBU

Ya know, I had the same thought on the .30 Luger ammo. Please post if the ammo is good, hopefully they will come out with different calibers too.
