....................................

Go to google or some other search engine and enter " Luger-P-08-Vol-2-Third-Reich-Post-WWII-Models" and you will find the new book which they will ship free when it comes out next year.

When I tried to load the other address it was giving out too much of my information, sorry.

The new book is Vol 2.

Vol 1 is about $21 on Amazon right now.

I combined your postings - it made no sense

Interesting, because today was the first time I actually looked at Vol 1 a few hrs ago and ordered it from Amazon. I always hope that -- 1. Its not too basic (but expect it is) and 2. That perhaps it will have some rare and unusual photos in it.

Good morning all,
These two little books were released in France in 1999 and 2001, under the main pen of my friend Luc Guillou, with the collaboration of my other friend, Georges Maachtelinckx. They are good books for initiation and cannot compete, for example, with the books of Jan Still.
I participated in the writing of some chapters, but about the production, by Mauser, of P 08, for France, it turns out that following new discoveries, it is outdated!

Over the years, I have read some quite interesting articles by Luc Guillou, in the French magazine, 'Gazette des Armes'.

They have all been very informative and contain photographs that I have not seen in other publications, but my library does not contain every book published on the subject, yet.
