Good day,
Couldnt think of a better topic name I think many if not most have stories of the one that got away or the one i should have bought I certainly know I do Was digging through some pics on my phone and found this one from a few years ago at my local Cabelas Library The Artie in the corner came home with me hind sight I should have got them all or at the very least the Navy in the corner. They also had a very nice SVW45 P-38 ( not in the Pic ) Figuered I would share and see if any of you have similar stories or pictures they would like to share I'll spare you all the rest of mine trust me there are a few |

I'd say that the LP08 holster is a repro, just no age, price is okay, but not wonderful.
The others, depends on how long ago this was? Prices are really good for the LP08 and the navy. See where i live

I never get tired of a 'lineup' like that Good-Day ... it would be hard to resist taking a few home.
My last 'regret' gun was this carbine I left behind at an auction a few months ago ... I still think about it a lot and won't let it happen again.

In 2016, I had opportunity to buy a 1941 S/42 "widow" Mauser in 95% condition for $1600. It was a police/stolen gun auction. I passed it up to buy a strawed 1937 Mauser in 90% from the same place for $1300. I was looking for an all-matching shooter and I just couldn't afford to take both at the same time. Still have the 1937, but its really much better than a shooter so it doesn't get fired much...

Actually, I think we got away from your original ask - I have several stories of seeing something on a table and I come back at a gun show and its gone. But its worse when its a big show like Tulsa and I can't remember where it was!
I keep a list of guns I've owned, usually once I get home, I add it to my list (C&R list but also what i call my home gun list), and I look and I'm like, holy moly, I used to own a couple of Test Lugers! I've owned only one baby nambu, but wish I'd kept it! |

Jack,
Yes that was a very confusing post. Good catch - I obviously meant byf. And now for the excuses: I'm old, It was really late, I had S/42's on the brain, I'm confused! I could edit it but I think I'll leave it as a reminder to put first put brain in gear, then type.
