Default Well, our Canadian friends are screwed.

By executive fiat, Trudeau has informed our Canadian brothers that they can't buy, sell, transfer or import handguns. Except, of course, for police, security, and "elite" shooters, like Olympians. Plus, they will start implementing a program to "buy back" all those nasty semi-auto rifles and "compensate" their owners. Oh, and no more than a 5 round magazine in anything. Again, this underlines the difference between a citizen and a subject.

His edict will cause all the mags to be permanently blocked to hold five rounds. So much for preserving history.

Correction, I miss spoke, he said rifle mags. We will see if others are included.

New Zealand did this and a whole gob of these items simply went underground. It is a fools errand to try and wave a magic wand to make guns disappear. They are too easy to fabricate/create and the ones already out there will become available little by little to whoever has ready cash. Fact of the matter is this. laws are for the law abiding. Criminals pay no attention what so ever. The real trouble here is that disarming the law abiding makes them vulnerable from two evil groups. Criminals and their own Government. Historically. governments who disarm subjects then do things that would get them shot but no one has guns.

"In addition to this new legislation, the Government of Canada will require long-gun magazines to be permanently altered so they can never hold more than five rounds and will ban the sale and transfer of large capacity magazines under the Criminal Code."

Looks like Luger mags might be spared as they are limiting long gun mags. But the 32 round snail drum won't be spared and will be restricted from sale.

Just based on link by Gunnertwo. Gunbugs said it affects all firearms.?

As I understand it, this is proposed legislation that must first pass before it can be implemented. Still, without a Second Amendment equivalent, Canadians are probably screwed.

Even with the Second Amendment it looks like we may have a fight on our hands to maintain what we now have. I cannot envision legislation that will impact crime and not encroach upon the rights of lawful gun owners. There are already sufficient gun laws; they just need to be enforced.

This is an EMAIL I sent to my friends in the law abiding community here and in the US a few hours ago.

PLEASE HELP US DEFEAT THIS BILL ... C-21
https://www.change.org/p/canadian-go...21?signed=true

I am sure you guys are as horrified as I am by the latest attack on our law abiding gun community.

Trudeau announces the end of Handgun ownership in 'so called' democratic Canada.
https://www.cpac.ca/episode?id=6b281...0-d3fd15b076f8

I personally will fight this with every ounce of my being but am seeking solutions and guidance from you my friends in the 'gun world' ... what are you guys doing and can I help ... This does not apply so much to you Jason as you are living in America but take notice because there is a similar movement or trend to strip your citizens of their God given right to be able to defend yourself and your loved ones from tyranny and that is what this is, nothing short of a would be dictator in waiting clearing his path to absolute unchallenged power.

In Canada we do not enjoy 2nd amendment rights, mores the pity, but soon I fear we law abiding citizens will be forced to relinquish our firearms to this non democratic demagogue.

Looking for solutions and answers.

Sincerely
Greg Spangenberg

The Boy King is a protegee of Klaus Schwab of the WEF. Surprisingly, many world leaders are part of this NWO cult.

He froze and seized bank accounts of not only the peaceful trucker protesters, but also of anyone that donated money in support. The clown is a tyrant that admittedly stated he admired communist China and its leaders power.

Look for all of his US buddies to push for similar laws. It is easier to control an unarmed populous and implement the "Great Reset".

I fear we law abiding citizens will be forced to relinquish our firearms to this non democratic demagogue. From time to time, the blood of tyrants and patriots must be spilled to refresh the tree of Liberty...The main reason our forefathers placed the 2nd amendment in our Bill of Rights was to protect us from a government who would trample our inaliable right to be free. It is NOT the right of the government to exercise or not. It is the right of the Citizen to be free of government restriction.

Forced you say? I will be forced to give whoever comes all of my ammunition they can carry away before they can have my guns. I am old and have only my God to fear. I will not appear in his presence having been forced to my knees in this world.

I will be happy to lay and rest in my pile of warm brass.

Thank you Joe aka Pistol and Jerry aka lugerholsterrepair and all watching this thread.

I could not agree more ... the world is in the midst of a 'crazy' change and Charlton Heston's NRA speech comes to mind ... 'From my cold, dead hands!'

Canadians would be better selling their collectible firearms rather than letting history be destroyed. Sorry to say

If gun powder was brains Trudeau wouldn't have enough to blow his nose.

With the stroke of a pen this idiot has created a huge 'black market' for unregistered gun sales in Canada ... gangs and criminals are laughing their ass's off.

Prior to this guns were REGISTERED by law abiding gun owners and tracked but now there will be NO ability for police to know where a gun came from ... admittedly there has ALWAYS been a gun black market but now its where EVERYONE will have to acquire or sell a gun.

100's of legitimate gun based business's and their employees will be closed and on 'unemployment' or worse at the mercy of predatory banks ... This will end up causing the Canadian tax payer billions if not trillions and all so this moron can feel like a hero, a man, to the male bashing feminist and trans crowd he caters to.

The community is suddenly in much more danger as law abiding gun owners who COULD HAVE intervened in a crime with authority now will be in a much less safe position to do so.

Call a cop you say ??? Ya right ... they only show up 8 hours AFTER your dead if at all.
