Default Lugerman 45 for sale

I noticed the other day on Legacy’s website they posted a Lugerman 45 Luger for sale at $7995. I thought it would be a quick sale as I was under the impression that demand was high. If I’m not mistaken isn’t there a waiting list to get these pistols and a long wait time? I don’t know what they cost from Lugerman but they can’t be cheap. If I could afford one I would definitely buy it but it isn’t gonna happen. Has anyone shot one, curious as to how they handle. They seem to be of the highest quality.

Check his website for offerings and prices. IIRC, .45 Lugers from his first batch were on sale for about $3k.

Ian McCollum's YouTube of his testing one suggests that he liked it. He could make a steel target ring with every shot. Eugene stands behind his work and will fix any problems that might occur, and I think it was he who once said they shoot "like butter."

The pistol was designed and tested around Remington .45 ball ammo. If you use that, it functions perfectly. They handle jut like a real Luger, the slight reduction in grip angle is unnoticeable in use. They are big, someone with small hands (mine are big) might weigh in on this topic.

This pistol may just be my favorite shooter.

It sold quickly. Probably just hours after posting.

It did sell but it took a couple of days. I was a bit surprised it took that long. Prices of new ones are about the same after I looked up Lugerman's website. I did watch Ian McCollum's youtube video as suggested and he seemed to love the pistol. I would love to get one, looks like a real fun one to shoot. Unfortunately the only way I could get one is if I sold a kidney.

I still find it interesting that this pistol was tested to function with the worst quality ammo on the market.

If it is made to function with the worst ammo, then it should work with anything better, I would think.

It absolutely does not work with any other ammunition

I ordered a repro. Mod. 1907 .45 cal. luger from LugerMan a while back and am anxiously awaiting its delivery, I'm told in about 2 months. I do intend to fire the piece after I receive it just to verify it functions properly. Yes, the waiting period is a bit lengthily but I believe the wait is worth it.
I've watched Ian's video on the piece a few times and am impressed with how the piece functions, its accuracy and his remarks in the video.

Remington ammo, bad quality? Not in my experience. I'll take American made over any of the foreign brands.

They may have improved, but testing in the past proved otherwise.

Good luck. let me know if you ever get your pistol. I was also told about two months wait time. I ordered the 45 ACP one almost two years ago and paid in full and all I get when I inquire every 6 months is your order is up next, and it will ship in a couple of weeks. I doubt I will ever see the luger or my funds. BBB is full of unresolved nonresponsive complaints of just the same. I trusted Ian's recommendation video, but I should have looked at BBB before I sent any money. Live and learn, and I am still learning as old as I am.
