G Date grips
After removing and inspecting my G Date grips I noticed that there are absolutely NO markings, stamps or imprints. My question is Should there be some sort of proof marks or stamps on original G Date grips?????

LL, the G-Date grips are a mixed bag, some are numbered and some are not. I think more grips were numbered for the early G-Date grips and more were blank for the later G-Date. Sorry I can't be more specific!!

No Frank, that's actually the kind of answer I was hoping for. That there was a possibility that they were unmarked on G dates, means these are probably the original grips... I had a feeling they were because they fit the gun so well.... thanks

LL, Your on the right track. How they fit is usually a good indication of original issue. TH
