Post Anyone know what these markings are?

I purchased a byf42 from a gentleman and found these marks when the grips were removed.
"DELLDWPB +1 9mm Germany"

The letter D before the W is maybe an O and I think it is a + before the 1. Does anyone have any idea what this is? I've never seen an import mark like this. Thanks
Ed

This importer was Pedro "Bello". He imported many of the late M&N suffix 42BYFs that went to Portugal. Tom H.
