Canvas Trommel Carrier Bag...Repo...
A reproduction canvas carrier bag for the Trommel drum magazine is on auction. I did not know repros were being made...

I have one of these, which I bought over here. It's Ok quality but is very clearly a repro - a good thing in my view. It would only really be of any use to a re-enactor. Maybe if I bury it in the garden for a while.................

Pete, I believe the carrier being offered is one of many made by Great War Militaria in Pa. If so, they are quite well done down to the last detail and are patterned from my canvas carrier which I bought from GWM's museum when it was closed down.

Aaah, so that's who made it. I also bought a high quality repro holster for a Hebel Flare Gun from those folks.
