Arrow S/42 Replacement Mag

I read some discussion recently about S/42 replacement mags. Here is a link to a picture of one I have. It has a standard nickel tube.

I am not posting this asking if anyone thinks it's real or not. I have already formulated my opinion. This is being posted FYI.

Regards, Leon

Leon, Since Mauser didn't start using the code 42 (without the S) until 1939 I would expect the mag to have a blued type 2 body, rather than nickeled.

Tom, please expand!! The photo shows a S/42 with a droop eagle 63 acceptance mark. This combination bottom could have been used in either a plated or blued tube!!
