Interesting Web Site...
http://www.zietemann.de/luger.htm
Noticed the animated gif is the same one we got permission to use for the LF opening page... And other photos are the same as on a LF member's web site... |

I guess it is hard to resist the urge to cut and paste the good stuff.

I have notified Gerard Henrotin of the possible violation of his copyright on the Luger animation we have on our front page WITH his permission.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention Pete.

I did not see any copyright info. on Albert's web site...
This fellow seems to have lifted quite a few of Albert's photos, as well... Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Technically, you do NOT have to put copyrighted on anything, whether written or pictures. The law assumes that if made by you, it is copyrighted.
Of course, many people desire to make it obvious and thus place the copyright or a symbol on the site / paper, etc. Ed

It seems that he regards these products as his own product!
To wit: (the following is a reproduction of the notice that appears on the lower left of his page) "Copyright © 2000 Andreas Zietemann" Is that not a violation of the copyright Law ??? Viggo |

I realize that people misuse the copyright laws (especially on the Internet), but I shall not complain to much if another collector uses my images on his web site in an attempt to promote Luger information and knowledge in a positive manner. I have to search back in my e-mails if I gave approval to Andreas Zieteman to use my images. On the other hand, if any of my images will be used on a web site without my prior approval, I would at least expect a credit such as 'Image courtesy of Imperial Arms'.
