Thanks to LF member in Switzerland, SwissDaggers, this 1920's era Swiss holster with magazine pouch on top of closure flap is on its ways to its new home in the States. Thought it would go well with my M1906/24 W+F Bern...

I will post some follow-up "rig" photos in a week or so.

It is great to have a luger friend like SwissDagers willing to help us Swiss "nuts" locate things for us in CH. Even if he may not have an item in stock, he is always willing to look out for your request during his travels to CH gun fairs. Check out his web site :

A very fine holster with strap which will join well in your Swiss Luger set.

Pete, congradulations to your holster! I would love to get the same condition for my Bern 1906/24 first variation.
Have you tried to catch the spare magazine out of the pouch on top of your holster? Near to impossible without any tools -

Hello Roland,

Sorry for the delay of my response...I seemed to have missed your question, until now...

I wondered the same thing about how the magazine is removed if pushed into the pouch all the way to close the flap. The fit is very tight and there are no circular cut-outs on the sides of the leather pouch where the woodend magazine bottom "buttons" occur.

I have used a small piece of thin, sturdy twine (rope). I loop it around the top of the magazine before I insert it into the pouch. I pull on the twine until the bottom of the magazine clears the pouch and then can easily pull it out completely by pulling on the wooden buttons...
