Mauser P.08 pattern Luger
I stumbled into a nice 4" 9mm Mauser Parabellum today at the Phoenix gun show, it wasn't the typical Swiss style, it was exactly like a P.08 with a grip safety... Are these more rare then the Swiss style??.... It is as new, looks unfired, no box, I paid $550 for it, is this a good price?...... a six inch .30 cal. P.08 Parabellum sold at the same table for $375 just before I got there! Probably should have been there early! Oh well! till...later....GT

I think one sees the Swiss style Interarms Mausers, particularly NIB, because...nobody wants them! I think Mauser themselves figured that out, and went to producing the traditional style in hopes to generate sales.
For $550 I think you made an extremely advantageous purchase, --Dwight |

Hi Dwight! I thought even as a shooter, for $550 I couldn't go too far wrong.... it certainly has the luger feel, as you've described... no other gun feels quite the same! Thanks for the note Dwight....till...later....GT

Dwight, Yours is the most desireable of the standard production Mauser Parabellums: They made more Swiss Style than PO8s and more 6" than 4". Also 9mms are in more demand than the 7.65mms. TH
