John Sabato & Patrick Villiers ANNOUNCE - Luger Quiz #3 !!!
This coming Saturday, May 26th at 9:00 AM US Eastern Time is proposed for the execution of Luger Quiz #3. If you are not located within the US, you are still eligible to participate but you are responsible for any difference in Time between you and the east coast of the US.
This quiz will be web based and will submit your answers via email for grading purposes by the judges. I am sorry but there will be no re-counts for poor or unreliable internet connections or personal computer failures. The prize for the winner of Luger Quiz #3 will be a fine looking CMR reproduction Brown P-08 holster graciously and generously donated by Forum member Patrick Villiers of Berlin, Germany. The quiz will consist of 30 multiple choice questions of varying degrees of difficulty and 6 Tie-breaker bonus questions. Newcomers and old-timers alike are encouraged to participate. There is no entry fee, and this is an open book quiz. The winner of the quiz will be the person who has the most correct answers in the time alloted after the quiz URL is posted at 9AM on Saturday... All quiz entries must be received within 45 minutes of the start of the quiz to be eligible. All forum members are encouraged to participate just for the fun of it, but for the following reasons the below named individuals are not eligible for the prize: John Sabato & Patrick Villiers (made up and sponsored the quiz) Dok & Marvin Cook (are ineligible because they were winners of the first two quizzes) John D. (Our kind and generous host of the LugerForum because he volunteered to help me with the preparation of HTML code for the quiz execution and was exposed to the questions) If there are any questions about the mechanics of the quiz, ask them NOW. No questions will be answered after Friday at Midnight eastern time. Most all of the answers are available on this website or have been discussed in various threads in the last 90 days, but there are a few questions that will require most of us to research the answers. Time will be of the essence! Answer all the questions you know first before doing any research, and make sure you have clicked on all your answers before you press the "SUBMIT" button because only your first answer sheet will be graded, additional attempts to send answers will be ignored. Any question not answered will be marked wrong, so it won't hurt to guess if you don't know. We wish each of you the best of luck... the URL for the quiz web page will be posted on the discussion forum at 9 AM on saturday! warm regards, John Sabato & Patrick Villiers |

Congratulations John! I´ve seen the layout - a tremendous effort by all concerned (except by me - I can only handle technology that was established well before 1930). It´ll provide a format for future Quizzes. Patrick
