A *Very* Unusual Navy Holster
Hello from Tybee Island,
Last week I acquired a most unusual Weimar Navy holster. AKAH marked along with the M Anchor property mark, it is made of heavy goat skin, has a coaxial rod pocket down the face, single belt loop, strap and stud closure that is configured to rise at an angle frm the back abeam the trigger guard position ala Webley revolver style. No provision for a take down tool. It is stitched with methiolate treated linen. It is almost an exact copy of an Imperial John Huber I own except it is a light brown color (Vice black on the Huber.)and the Huber has a tool pocket. Never saw one like it before. Will send some pix for posting when I get back from the beach. Tom A. |
