Default Richard (Richie) Shavel passed on 9/9/2022

Cheryl told me;

I'm very sorry to notify you that my husband, Richard Shavel has passed.

He has battling many forms of cancer since 2013 and put up a courageous fight.

He was not in pain, physically, but suffered tremendous emotional anguish because he loved his life. In the end,
morphine blunted the pain and I was next to him until his last breath.

He was loved by many and the world has lost a treasure.

Cheryl Shavel

I am very saddened by this news.
I have some sad news, older members will remember Richie Shavel, a very nice and kind man. We only met a few times, but I have known Richie for the last 20 years.

I am very saddened to learn of his death.

Although I have never had the privilege to speak with Richard I am saddened by the fact that now I will never be able too.

Please share my condolences too ED.
