Default OK, here is a holster quiz for today!

I recently acquired a near mint Nazi CZ 27 (vz 27) and it came in this holster, which I'm sure is not for this pistol. the only marks on it are the stick eagle stamp and inside there is a very faint stamp in green ink that is illegible. It is very well made with heavy stitching... It appears to be made of black cowhide.

Can anyone know what this holster is???

Hi John,

My guess would be for a Sauer 38H pistol...

Regards,

Pete...

I would think, as Peter said, a Sauer 38h or 1934 Mauser. It's kind of one the generic, one size fits all. Illustrated in Whittingtons.
