Default The exact opposite

I just won an auction for exactly what I wasn't looking for. I couldn't help it. The twinkling gleam of the beautiful straw parts as the light from the flashbulb danced across the mirror blue finish of the 6in barrel held me in it's spell. Not the Wartime German proofed collectible shooter but the non collector NIB Interarms Swiss style Mauser with AE logo in .30 Mauser ser#1000386X. I haven't been able to caress it yet, but I am already in a quandry. Shoot it and ruin it's pristine finish or put it in a glass case. I just may have to keep looking for that shooter. SOOOOO! What's so bad about having two?

yup, but even if you shoot it a bit, it will still be fairly prisitine looking if you keep good care of her,

Hi John,

I put this rig together as my first shooter luger...it was NNIB but I take her out every couple of months and shoot 200-250 rounds of 9 mm each time,.

She still looks as nice as the day brought her home.

Regards,

Pete...

I know I could never stand to just look at her. I'll definitely have to take her to the range and let her show off in front of all the guys. Luckily I roll my own, so I should be able to feed her well.

Just be sure to feed it .30 (7.65mm) LUGER ammo, not the .30 (7.63mm) MAUSER ammo that you mentioned. TH

Sorry Lugerdoc. A memory slip. But I secretly knew because I've been thinking of where my reloading manual is and where to find loads and brass for 30 luger. So although I typed mauser I knew better. Thanks for your concerned response.
