Double Dated Police Value
Hi:
I'm looking at an all matched (commercial location) 1913/1920 Double Dated DWM that has a perfect bore and had a Police Sear Safety (now missing). The blueing is approximately 95%, the straw approximately 85%. The wood bottom magazine has no serial number. According to its owner, the pistol came from Bremerhafen, right after the war. What is a fair price to offer for this pistol? Sieger |

Hi Bob,
As you know it's nearly impossible to evaluate a pistol without photos, but if in the condition that you state. I would speculate the value to be in the $700-$800 range depending on the buyer. The fact that the sear safety is missing will depreciate it somewhat. Just a WAG. Ron

Bob,
Are there any markings on the front grip strap?
