Default Lotsa History...

This old holster sure has lots of history...deserves a home and a run through Jerry B's shop...if it had any connection to Swiss lugers, I would adopt her...

I am pretty sure it is a Norwegian rework holster, a couple of years ago you couldn't give them away for $50, but it appears many guys are buying them and "fixing" them. In its present shape, I don't think itâ??s worth $150.00

At least to me...

Looks like a reworked artillery holster. Usually they were shortened and plugged, but some were reshaped with a round toe like this one. There is even evidence of a stock strap block on the back. The thing I don't see, but it is hard to tell from the photo, is any sign of stitch holes where a cleaning rod pouch was removed. It is marked to Field Artillery Regiment 57.
