Default 41 byf

I am buying a 41 byf from charlie justmann. I think he is a strait up guy. He is asking 1095 for it, it is from his discription 90% finish, with some small pitting on the front of the bbl band. he said is was just freckling. all matching numbers excpt for mag which is eagle 655. grips are not serial numbered but have eagle over 655. I only have one photo at the moment but he is sending others. what is the opinions of my fellow collectors. fair price? about what it is worth? to much? thanks I will post more photos when I get them.

Daryl,

It would help our Mauser folks to know if all parts are matching and if the magazine matches as well. (Oops...you said so already...)

A serial number range (i.e. 576x a) would also let folks know what is proper and not.

Original finish or not also affects price and value.

Price of only $ 1000 for a nice luger is a bargain in CA.

the finish is all original, I do not have the serial number as of yet. I thought 1095 plus shipping was fair for a gun like this. I am upgrading my 37 luger sold for 1000 and for 125 dollars more I will be getting a byf 41. My luger had some pitts on the frame and grips were chipped and worn. It was a good gun but entry level shooter, with all matching excpt mag. finish on my 37 was 60% with all matching excpt for hold open lever.

Looks like a nice Pistol.. and a good price. I should have a BYF 41 (my first BYF) coming this week as well. Congrats on the Luger!
