Hi Waffenrec,
I cannot see any navy markings from your pics; perhaps if you would do some close ups. Tom A |

It is a late Weimar Navy, Kiel issue. These were pulled from normal DWM commercial production. Not many around and most collectors have little knowledge of the Weimar Navy.

Adrian,
Tom has sufficient experience with navy lugers so that he would not now have to refer to the book you mentioned. In fact, Tom is the preocess of writing a book on navy lugers.

Lew1,
I am humbled by such words. While Navy Lugers are an area in which I may lay claim to being a reasonably knowledgable individual, I , like all am subject to human error and "dis-remembering" things-That is remembering something that is pertinent but WRONG. I make many boo-boos, but I am very active in Luger acquisition and perhaps I am right 51% of the time. In any event, thank you for the vote of confidence. Adrian, you are correct, these Weimar Navy pieces are treasures and the buying public has virtually no knowledge about them. I jump on them whenever i find them. From the Road, Tom A |
