Election Day
When you step in the voting booth, remember which party disparages our brave men and women in uniform and make your feelings known.

Tom,
I like it when our President said after the election..."man we got trashed"... Leave it to the Democtrats in 2008...they will run Hillary with a male VP candidiate (probably with a gay outlook on life) and that will turn all those States "red" again on the political maps... |

If they run Hillary, we are back in the saddle again. I hope our guys have learned a lesson from this one. Tim |

Periodically the Republican/Conservatives decide they are *really* Republican-lite. This is followed in short order by reckless spending, a sense of entitlement and pseudo-social engineering. Then, voila, an election comes around and people decide they don't need fake democrats when they can have the real thing. They vote them in and all of a sudden, it is an "Oh my God, I did what?" moment.
Time passes, and assuming the jihadis do not blow us up, folks realize that the tax and spend, confiscate the guns, diversity uberalles mentality is poison. The cycle then repeats as dems are ousted. Makes one long for a benevolent despot or at least a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system...at least the agony would not go on so long. Tom A |
