Navy 1916
Dear all,
Please what do you think of this 1916 Navy? It's not mine, but it's to sale, and I'm interested. I have only these 4 pics. The seller told me that this gun has all matching numbers, except the magazine (no number). I'm a little bit suspicious because the barrel seems rather new, and I see no number on lateral plate Many thanks |

Patrick, for the wear seen on the left side, how could the barrel be pristine unless new or refinished

Hi Ed
Yes.... the seller told me that the barrel has been reblued. The price is rather low (it's relative!), but it seems that it's a rebuilt gun, isn't it? |

if you can get it at a "shooter" (albeit 6 inch navy) price, it would be worth it. My navy is not in the best of shape, but its a real navy, so if you want to fill a spot, it is worth it?
