Default Off topic (again)

Got in the Broom Handle, neat gun. Has CHINESE Markings on bottom left side of receiver! Has additional Chinese Charactors (we believe one of the previous owners name perhaps) outlined in light and closely punched (sounds worse than it really is) dot pattern. Looks like it was center punch marks. Bore is really nice, grips are HORRIBLE. I now see why Kyrie and others are so enamored with this gun, it is really amazing. Doesnt feel as good in the hand as a Luger but it surely is facinating as well. I WANT ONE now! Ted

Ted,

Wait until you take this puzzle apart, it looks like a "Chinese" puzzle. There are no screws except the grip screw and everything is perfectly mated together.

Default Word of Warning

Ted, speaking from experience make sure that when you reassemble the C-96 you check an exploded drawing. There is one particular part that can go in either direction. Put it in backward and the gun will not function, nor will you be able to take it apart again! If by some miss-fortune this happens contact "The Gun Rack" in Florida. They were the only ones that I know of who can get them apart again.

Doug is right on target! The part is the rocker coupling, so be careful to observe how it is oriented when you remove it - it *must* go back in the same way.

Best,

Kyrie
