Search for Lugers & Holsters
Many collectors appreciate the hunt for one type of Luger in a fine condition. I have been on such a quest for a 1938 Holster to go with my father in Laws minty 1938 S/42
I managed to secure this beauty for him and plan to give it to him for his birthday. I found it at a very good price (in my own view, considering condition) I have found lots of 39, 40 and 41 and even a few nice 37s but the 38 has excaped me until now. Thanks to Tom Armstrong for his assistence in the search. I just happened to luck onto this baby myself, so it pays to be ever vigilent and ever searching for these treasures. I need to find another one for my plum 38. The quest is on again! Ted http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/1938Holster.jpg |

Re: Search for Lugers & Holsters
Ted,
Will you adopt me as your son? I really need some more Lugers and holsters! Seriously, this is really nice of you to think of your father-in-law this way. he certainly is lucky to have someone like you as a son-in-law. The holster is beautiful. Marvin |

Re: Search for Lugers & Holsters
Nope, you are older'n me and you have more guns! He is a great guy and loves Lugers. He found a fellow that had a collection of Lugers one of each year that Mauser made them. I am sure the K date and G went fast but when my father in law found this out it went over there and bought the nicest one of four, the 1938 and I have been looking for a holster for him ever since. He bought me Still's "Third Reich Lugers" so we trade these type of presents! Ted
