[FORUM ANNOUNCEMENT]
Due to pressures in my life outside of the Luger Forum, I am finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with the posting of photos for the Owner's Corner.
I am therefore placing a temporary moratorium on posting photos to the Owner's Corner until the New Year, when I will revisit this decision. I have posted all the pictures that I have received that met the posting criteria (ie from a profiled member of the Forum, and the pictures were accompanied by text explaining the pictures). Any others were deleted or stored for future posting. Your understanding is appreciated. Dok (Webmaster) |

Re: [FORUM ANNOUNCEMENT]
It is certainly fair by me also. I don't think that the pay you are receiving was ever meant to cover that task anyway.

Dok,
A good decision! Taking care of this Forum has to be monumental job and I know we all appreciate the time and effort you put into it. Family, jobs, and other areas must take a precedence at some point. The great job you do is certainly apprecited very much by me! Marvin |

Re: [FORUM ANNOUNCEMENT]
Dok, I can't tell you how impressed I have been from my day-one on this forum in regard to your helpfulness and thoughtfulness. This must be a time consuming job, but you always seem to be right there on top of it! Was going to submit my photo and profile, but will now wait until January. Probably a good thing to keep my mug off of here for as long as possible anyway. Just wanted to let you know that from my perspective, you have done and are doing a phenomenal job!

Re: [FORUM ANNOUNCEMENT]
Thanks Dok, appreciate it, will wait until January to see if we can put my six incher up that I had e-mailed a while back. Must have screwed up and forgot a story. I do appreciate the forum help also, it is most enjoyable to come and play!

Photos and Profiles....
will still be put up. You of course, can do your own profile without my help, and the Rogues Galolery is not onerous at all, and I will continue to do those.
Thanks for your understanding. Dok |

Re: Photos and Profiles....
Dok, it ain't like your married to the Forum, but at times I'm sure it feels exactly that way. I'll wait with my 'mug shot' 'till after the Holidays. I'm sure each and every member appreciates as much as I do all that you have done for us. Your a terrific asset to the Forum, thank you->!

I would like to add my KUDOS...
for the job you do on this Forum, DOK. It's probably one of the most "thankless" jobs anyone could volunteer for - but you have done a wonderful job keeping the Luger Forum site fresh, the Discussion Forum "On Topic" and handled the public and private flames with aplomb and as a gentleman...
My thanks, too, for all you've done for budding and expert collectors and enthusiasts alike... |
