Rock Island Auction Test Luger 6795
with very nice test holster sold for $20,000 plus buyers premium. Wow!
http://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDetai...24794#topoflot I would have been spitting in the wind if I had bid on it.

I pretty much watched the entire RIA auction today.
Did not see many luger bargains. Most of the auctions where won by onsite bidders Someone got a fair deal on a very nice 1900 AE,I wasn't fast enough on the button. A 1900 AE with Ideal holster stock (my dream rig) went for $5500 + fees . I saw a few bargains on the cowboy stuff. A couple of Bisleys and some of the engraved Colt SAAs seemed a pretty good deal. I don't know enough about rifles and shotguns to comment Lots of rare Nazi stuff went for BIG money.(to me anyway) Bob

I did not bid, but almost did on the two simson's, curious as to their going price?
One came from Ralph's inventory, the other I do not know... Ed

The nice 90% Simson went for $3250 + buyers fee. Not sure on the other one. Is that a good deal? Bob

I was watching a 1939 Commercial Mauser Banner. The hi-low estimate which is nothing but bait, showed $1800-$2400. Of course, what that means is it will bring somewhere north of $3000.00. I hit the bid button at $1500.00 but because of the time lapse, when my bid went through, I actually had bid $1800.00. Well I am the proud owner. But according to Joop and Don, only 597 were made of that model. Plus it comes with a nice looking police holster, tool and extra mag. The lot number is 3557 if anyone wants to take a look.
