Or, does someone have Photoshop and too much time on their hands?
Nope... there it is in a YouTube Video! Marc

Apparently they are having trouble getting ATF to approve US import. That whole "more than one shot for every pull of the trigger" ruling.
Guess what some despot's bodyguard corps is getting for Christmas? |

Pistol designers cannot make any real inventions anymore. It's a good sign that development of self-loader using metallic cartridge has reached the end. Actually, reached the end many years ago... any serious invention after PP/PPK?

I like it. I think it actually would have a purpose in hunting, dangerous game, so there is the sporting reason for BATFE to allow it. I wonder if the action would be ammo sensitive as in What would happen if one cartridge was at a different power level or one was a miss-fire? When dealing with 2 cartridges it creates a whole set of new obstacales.

I wonder if a duble barrel shotgun could be midified to discharge both barrels with one put of the trigger.

Lew, if someone can dream it, it can usually be built. That's the motto of the head guy on Sons of Guns, more or less, and I'd agree with him. Let's do it on an 8 ga.!

The main question is: When will we see a luger version of this concept?
And with a bit of an improvement: two luger toggles combined, but working separately. It would require a side plate on each side, with the sear mirrored on one 'half'. |

To get two seperately operating toggles you would also have to have two independently reciprocating receivers, two seperate mainsprings, ejectors...gives me a headache to think about it

A good call. Doubling up the top end would be even easier and more effective on a Mauser C96.

If I use a rubber band to tie two Lugers together, that should work ..... except the grip is too wide to hold ... two toggle joints may interfere each other during recoil, maybe

So Arsenal goes through all this to get 16 rounds of .45ACP?
I just grab my Para PXT 14-45. Same amount of ammo, NO BATF headache. There is truly nothing new under the sun.
