Police Holster
just in, I know it's a police holster, but beside that nothing else.
The flap is broken, can it be repaired to look as the separation never happened? Can the name written on the back be removed? Thank you |

yes and then no
yes, Jerry Burney can fix the lid No, you can not and should not attempt to remove the markings on the rear, you'd have to rub them off, then instead of markings, you'd have a deep rubbing or gouge. Pretty sure It started life as an artillery holster (see stitching markings on back) - but there should be markings on the outside or stamped on the inside of the lid. What markings are on the tool? . Show pictures of complete holster, front and rear, show close ups of markings please.

as-is about $75 / but then you know what you paid for it?
fixed, which will cost probably the same as eventual value, around $150 + or - a bit, remember, it will cost you in shipping the tool is worth $50-$85 - police ones don't sell a lot more than a plain one to most people
