Default Great range day with my Navy!

Great range day today. Brought along my "Built Navy" I bought from Hugh a few years back. It well impressed a non-Luger fan. (a big 1911 fan). He had owned and fired a couple of Lugers in the past, did not care them, so sold them. The 6" Navy Hugh built trigger was as smooth and crisp as my old 1911 Gold Cup was. In short order I grouped much better ( as did my friend) with the Luger than with my standard 1911. He is now rethinking getting another Luger. Maybe I'd better ask Hugh to build me another Navy! Now maybe if a could get a 1900 Luger "shooter", that would add to any range day. If I could find affordable .30 Luger ammo!

Once I shot an Astra 900 in range, one guy came over, asking "is this a Nambu?".... I thought, "Oh, probably he's a Nambu fan.... but wait a minute, wrong!! if he's a Nambu fan, at least he must know Nambu's appearance does not look like this"

Later, I heard he chatted with another guy on a Browning Hi-Power, very sensible talking. Turned out to be a Browning fan.
