Roadkill
Finally found his profile to find out more about his name! Interesting life and glad you made it buddy! My wife had an after life experience on the operating table and sounds like you did also.

Re: Roadkill
Hope everything is ok with her. Life sure can jerk you around sometimes. God has a way of getting your attention. 19 months in Vietnam with the 25th Inf & never hurt except hangovers, then I get back here & get hit by lightning, attacked by a hawk, head busted open in a truck wreck, and then run over by a Humvee, all in the last five years. I really need to stay at home more.

Re: Roadkill
She is super, lost a lot of blood in a surgery years and ago, and it was very ........close! God has done some things to get my attention in the past few years, but he was more gentle with me! Glad you are okay! Thor

Re: "Holeee Smackers!!!"....
I was riding my bicycle in the back country and looked up, something was coming at me but I could'nt make it out, looked up a couple of seconds later and it was a large red tailed hawk. It flared up and hit me with both claws in the face head on, was like I got hit with a fist. Luckily I didn't wreck and was wearing a pair of large ray bans with real glass, scratched them up and put a few more stitches in my face. It probably was also old and couldn't see and thought my grey head was a rabbit or something to eat. Just another day. Nothing serious.

Re: Roadkill
It really wasn't that big a deal. Anyway, do you know what the famous last words of the Alabama redneck is? "Hey ya'll, watch this!"

Re: Watch This!
That's much better Ron, I got a buddy (and this one's for real) who MANY years ago at an all night drinking campout on the river complete with flat bottom boat, coleman lanterns, shotguns, and card playing had a beer in one hand and a cigar in the other and tripped and wouldn't let go of either and fell face down and broke his nose. We had to wait till in the morning to take him to the doctor cause nobody was sober enough to run a boat up the Tennessee river in the dark after the fog rolled in. He was one pitiful sight.
