misc ramblings
hello all,
I was checking on e-bay and a side plate just went for $70. I assume that several people wanted that #78 stamped on it! Was showing my wife some different guns, she thought the Colt Single Actions had a pretty look, I showed her the Colt 1911 and she said, oh how ugly. Nothing like the beauty of a Single Action. I said what about the Luger? She said, oh its very nice too! So, I see John that although I like the Colt 1911, I'd better buy more Lugers and make her happy, Ed |

Re: misc ramblings
I hear you, Ed! I know that there are very few things that make my wife Linda happier than when I tell her that I am buying another Luger. All kidding aside, she has asked me many times why I didn't just buy a particular Luger that I had been admiring. (It is hard to explain that a lot of the thrill is in the hunt and not the 'capture').

Bill, It seems to me.......
That I can remember Linda & Carol having that very same discussion, as to how thrilled they were to see us guys find a nice luger for our collection...from time to time?.....at least that's the way I remember it..... maybe? till...later...G.T.

Re: misc ramblings
I like the category "miscellaneous ramblings", seems to have a definite relevance, clear, understandable, non apologetic, direct, easy to understand. I do it all the time.
