Default Profile Picture not working

I added a profile picture to my profile, but it does not show up. Doe it need to be activated by an administrator? I respectfully request that my picture be activated. Thank you.

I see it. Looks like a little boy with his hands handcuffed together???

Edit: No, it's Steve McQueen hiding behind a barn. My bad!

You have a profile picture, what I think you want is an avatar.

Upload same picture as an avatar

Yup!

Click on User CP in the forum title bar, scroll down the listing on the left side to Edit Avatar and click it, now scroll down to the bottom of the window on the right to Browse and click that button. A new window will open up showing your computer contents. Navigate to whatever picture you want as your avatar and double-click it and then click the Save Changes button. Viola! Avatar!

I just changed mine. A max of about 200 pixels is about right, I think.

Thanks very much to all. I guess I need to understand the difference between an avatar and profile picture.

A profile photo would be shown if someone looks up your profile to see information about you. An avatar is a photo or graphic image that appears every time you make a posting on a forum.
