Grip Interchangeability
I would like to procure an alternate pair of grips for shooting my 1916 DWM.
My question: Is there any reason that a later pair of plastic VOPO grips would not fit right on the older Luger? Thank you , 'Ski |

No, they should fit(within tolerance)!
You can always adjust them.

It's those cheap repops that basically worthless. It takes hours to fit one of them.

So , you are in agreement with Don that the VOPO grip panels would make suitable shooting grips?

VoPo grips are great for shooting. A bonus is that they are hollow inside. So no binding of the magazine button in the grip channel.

Gentlemen ,
After reading your advice I went ahead and committed to a VOPO (or maybe STASI...) grip set which I had been eyeballing on Gunbroker. A bit pricey , but with a nice mottled brown appearance ; I think that they will suit my needs just fine. Thank you. |
